I'm not going to lie, choir kids can be some of the weirdest kids you will ever meet in your life, but they can also be some of the coolest as well! One thing is for sure is that us choir kids sure know how to have fun and make the best out of the simple things! Even when people can't spell your name right at Starbucks :) ------------------------->
This past weekend the Jazz Choir went to the Jazz Madrigal Festival in Flagstaff. And like most choir trips, it was a blast! It all started at six in the morning. Early Right! I know! Anyways, we all piled into SUV's and instead of sleeping like I had planned to do, we ended up talking and laughing the whole way! Which don't get me wrong was a blast, but those who know me, know I am not a morning person in any form! To make a long story short (because I could go on, and on, and on about it) me Randall and Chelsea made the best of it! After all, it is our senior year so why not! It's not like we really care what people think of us anymore, because that stage is gone once you hit the first day of senior year (Unlike when you are freshman and you think you have to try and impress everyone so you can be "popular" and "cool". Which believe me is DUMB and POINTLESS!!!).
Test... I mean Tess, I I have made your blog two times in a row! Score! I really agree with what you say. Like the other day when Mrs. Thomas had us rate how important choir was for us.. you know what I'm talking about so I'm not going into detail. But, I was having a really bad day with choir drama and to top it off I felt kinda stupid doing the activity. Then after it was over I started to think about it and I decided I wanted to change my attitude. So today I was just trying to be a normal choir kid and Mrs. Thomas noticed and after school she saw me and told me I did a good job. A little praise can go a long way. My point is that choir is bipolar (like the book Frankenstein) We have our good days and we have our bad, but the good are the ones that you remember most and they make all of the drama totally worth it!
